Businesses we've Invested In
What they do: The Riveter is a female-forward workspace and platform designed for women and their advocates.
Why we invested: Women need this! A beautiful space to work, a nurturing community, business resources, professional networks and wellness amenities all in one place. Or in the case of The Riveter, in three spaces in the Seattle metro area and two more spaces in Los Angeles, with more to come across the country.
What they do: Kong Academy teaches the power of playful movement. Through the discipline of parkour, KA helps kids and adults turn challenges into opportunities for growth.
Why we invested: Physical movement and confidence in our ability to move our bodies is so crucial for our kids and ourselves. KA cultivates an environment where people can play, move and grow together, and we think that’s a winning combination.
What they do: Ganaz is building a software platform to enable food growers and farm workers to connect with one another and share information.
Why we invested: Nothing like this currently exists for the millions of laborers the world over. It’s a crucial tool and a win-win solution for both growers, who need consistent and reliable labor, and workers, who need fare wages and benefits.
What they do: Recompose is developing an innovative way to bring sustainability to the process of dying, allowing people to give back to the earth after they are gone.
Why we invested: We love companies that are rethinking they status quo, and Recompose is giving people a much needed sustainable alternative to the current end of life decisions
